Area 51

Artist’s statement

Area 51 is primarily about space and how to define a space that officially does not exist.
Ironically this area deep in the Nevada dessert, is one of the must see tourist places in California.
The mystery surrounding this installation is closely associated with the UFO phenomenon and with everything related to the cutting edge of flying.

Seen from the air, Area 51 is a complex series of buildings and runways whose geometries are the inspiration for this show… In reality is a good excuse to have a bit of fun.
I have always been fascinated by the experience of flying and the beautiful machines that make it possible.
