I’ve spent a busy time over the last 15 months at Retrospect Galleries in Broadbeach… Now I have an exciting announcement to make!

After waving good bye to the builders this week I have recently moved my work ‘back home’ and have opened a fresh new Studio space at – 87 Ridgeway Avenue, Southport.

As many of you know, I’ve spent more than 40 years in public and private curating, and have mentored dozens of emerging & mid career artists. I’m aware that many curators are moving online and away from traditional gallery space but you all know me – I’ve decided to buck the trend and opt for a more grass roots approach!

This means I’ll be able to do what I’ve always done – spend time nurturing and developing the careers of our most promising young artists while at the same time giving clients of my new gallery my best personal attention. There will also be more chances to meet and be involved with the artists and the art they enjoy because building those relationships is what I love to do best.

Lorraine Pilgrim Studio will be open weekdays 10am to 6pm and on weekends by appointment. The first full day group show opens Saturday 19 May and will include ‘meet the artist’ talks and other events.
